Jennifer Truong is an advanced doctoral trainee pursuing her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Southern California and brings a diverse professional background in finance and real estate before transitioning into the field of mental health.
Jennifer is passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges while fostering greater self-understanding, resilience, and personal growth. She has experience working with adolescents, college students, and adults experiencing concerns related to anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, life transitions, identity development, grief, and self-esteem. Jennifer approaches therapy with warmth, curiosity, and compassion, striving to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and genuinely heard. Her work is informed by cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, and person-centered perspectives. She values collaborating with clients to build on their strengths while working toward meaningful and lasting change. Jennifer is particularly interested in supporting individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and helping to reduce stigma surrounding mental health care.
