Jiyun Nam Psy.D.
Dr. Nam is currently a licensed psychologist and a registered art therapist. She received her
Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University (2017) and her Master of Arts degree in Art Therapy Counseling from Southern Illinois University (2007). She works with variety of clients including children, adolescent, and young adult. Her specialties include depression, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, domestic violence, trauma-related difficulties, and family/relational problems. Her psychological approach includes Client-Centered, Developmental, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive Behavioral Individual and Family Therapy. She utilizes therapeutic interventions that are tailored to the needs of each clients. For example, she often utilizes play-based art therapy for children. She also uses strength-based and mindfulness interventions as well as Evidenced Based Practice for children and adolescents; She is certified in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
